What is Daśa Mahāvidyā?

Daśa (Sanskrit for 10) mahā (great) vidyā (knowledge) is the worship of ten goddesses or manifestations of the Divine Feminine. These ten goddesses represent various aspects of the Supreme Goddess or Adi Parāśakti (primordial source of all energy).

You will learn 10 forms of Goddess Shakti.

The significance of each of the ten Mahavidyas:

• Kali – Liberation and fearlessness

• Tara – Protection and compassion

• Tripura Sundari – Spiritual bliss and perfection

• Bhuvaneshwari – Creation and manifestation

• Chinnamasta – Transformation and self-mastery
