MASSIMO CANTARA
Lesbos island, a UNESCO World Heritage destination, remains one of Greece’s hidden gems—far from the crowds of Santorini or Mykonos. Rich in culture and authenticity, it is the homeland of the poet Sappho and renowned for its olive oil, traditional ouzo, and unique natural beauty.
The island offers a rare blend of lush landscapes, ancient history, and unspoiled coastline. Millions of olive trees stretch across the land, interwoven with forests, mountains, and quiet valleys, while its long, serene beaches remain largely untouched by mass tourism.
Peaceful yet vibrant, Lesbos invites you into a more authentic rhythm of life—where nature, culture, and simplicity create the perfect setting for inner transformation and retreat. How to Get There:
Lesbos is located in the north-eastern Aegean Sea and is well connected to mainland Greece and Europe.
By Air: The easiest route is to fly to Athens, with multiple daily domestic flights to Mytilene (Lesbos International Airport). Direct flights from some European cities are also available.
By Ferry: Regular ferries operate year-round from Athens, often stopping at Chios and sometimes continuing to Thessaloniki. This is a more economical option and offers a scenic journey.
